release day...

Today is release day at Papertrey Ink, meaning all of the new goodies for the month will be up for sale tonight! I have a few more things to show you today, and then I will share some Stitched Sentiments projects tomorrow, since my stamps arrived a little late this month.

First up is Party Poppers. I used the fun new Favor It Box 8 to create this cute box! It was really easy to make and really packs a punch with its cute design!  I cannot wait to make more of these for a party.

You can watch a video that Erin made here on assembling this sweet box. I used Sweet Blush Patterned paper for the ends, so it's a little bit thinner and easier to fold, I didn't have to score the lines any more than they were scored after running it through the Cuttlebug to make the ends. The die also scores it. You cut one middle and 2 ends, then tape the ends onto the middle piece, fold and assemble. Twine or ribbon tied on the ends keeps them tight. I used the Party Poppers stamps on the little Celebrate tag.
I used a flower from Simply Jane stamp set with Hawaiian Shores on Aqua Mist cardstock for the center of the popper (stamp before assembling!).

Celebrate Party Popper Gift Box:
STAMPS: Party Poppers, Simply Jane
INK: Aqua Mist, Raspberry Fizz, True Black
PAPER: Aqua Mist cardstock, Sweet Blush Pattern Pack
DIES: Favor It Box 8
OTHER: pearls by Melissa Frances, twine by The Twinery.

----------

Here is a birthday tag made with Comfort Food mixed with Sentiment Signs and Button Up, along with a new Tag Sale #7 die. I used the soup bowl stamp to make a bowl of sherbet ice cream, stamping the Button Up stamps on the little circles that come out of the Cover Plate: Circles die.

Party tag:

INK: Summer Sunrise, Raspberry Fizz, Harvest Gold, Limeade Ice, Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz

OTHER: twine, floss, Queen and Co. tape, 2" circle punch

----------

Meet my last card using Thing Big Favorites #22, Hanging By a Thread, and Sew Simple Borders.

I used Sweet Blush cardstock for my base and kept it quite simple.
